It is Finished!

A helpless man I was; filled with darkness and anarchy  But something powerful and amazing happened at Calvary.  Through my eyes the world was meaningless without You But a beautiful promise made long ago had finally come through. A Man named Jesus was sentenced to be nailed on a cross Where He bore the sins of the world so that none may be lost. Out of love He gave His life for us all to be Savior and Redeemer My heart went from darkness to light and is now cleaner.  The price You paid for me can never, ever be repaid How great is Your mercy, I can now live my life unafraid.  Knowing that my sins and failures are no more How my heart dances in praise; I feel as though I can soar.  Hallelujah! Yes, forevermore my sins and debt You have extinguished Ever since that wonderful day You said, "it is finished!"  Inspirational Bible Verses:  1 Peter 2:24 (NASB) And He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live t...

Who am I

Who am I? Whom many would call a lost cause would choose  to think of me and place those voices of doubt on pause. Who am I? One who doesn't even come close to Your glory, but You pursued me anyway and gave me the victory.  Who am I? A man that's just filthy rags stained by sin, but You said "it is finished", so now my life can begin.  Who am I? A stranger that was once Your foe Y ou see with loving eyes and now call him Your own.  Who am I? I am Yours oh, Lord. Because of your love, redemption, and grace, a new song of praise my body and  soul sings in one accord.  Inspirational Bible Verses:  Romans 3:23-26 (NKJV) For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate...

The Heavy Hand That Frees

How marvelous and instructive is your Hand, Lord. It’s the same gentle Hand that puts my heart at ease and its the same mighty Hand that rebukes me. O’ where would I be without your Heavy Hand, Father. A lost and miserable man would I be; wandering through  the desert with no hope in sight seeking for water and not finding it.  O’ how strong is your conviction when your Heavy Hand is upon me; such a heavy, intense weight is placed on my soul.  How my flesh wants to ignore, defy, and flee it, but Your  Holy Spirit whispers to me that I be still and come back to You. Yes, Your Heavy Hand shows me the wicked error of my ways.  Your Heavy Hand reveals how my sins try to disconnect me from You. But your Heavy Hand won’t let me go because I am your's, Lord.  Just as a father disciplines the son in whom he delights, so it is  when Your Hand is over me. Thank you, Abba! You rebuke those that you love; ones that You call Your children. Father, Your Hand helps m...

The Next Step

Hello, everyone. Man, it's been a while since I've been on. I hope you all have been safe and blessed. A lot has changed since I last posted on this blog. Praise God for guiding me through these changes. I am finally a father - since 2016. My little guy's name is, Mateo, he's 3 years old. My wife, Ebony, and I celebrated 10 years of marriage this year. We were also blessed to go back to Taiwan with our son last year (2018.) And in the same year, I found an awesome job where I currently serve as a Quality Assurance rep. However, this year I lost someone very special to me. That was my Titi (aunt), Evelyn. She was a true warrior for Christ. She was so wise and encouraging. She brought so much inspiration in my journey and she did the same for many, many others. I will never forget the things she shared with me. I know she is in glory now with Jesus. I love and miss you, Titi. Til we meet again in Heaven. I pray that God provides comfort to my cousins, mother, and entire...

On My Way Somewhere

I'm on my way somewhere.  No, I don't know what lies ahead, but I have faith because I'm on my way somewhere.  I get tired and lose my breath, but I still push through because, I'm on my way somewhere.  My body aches as I grow weary, but I stay the course because, I'm on my way somewhere. Tears row down my eyes as emotions flood my face, but I fix my eyes and continue to march  on because, I'm on my way somewhere.  My feet start to blister as my legs start to give out, but I pull through the pain and keep  forward because, I'm on my way somewhere.  My heart begins to break, but I seek after the  heart of the one who saved me because,  I'm on my way somewhere.  My spirit feels troubled and crushed, but I pray my way through because, I'm on my way somewhere. My faith wears thin sometimes, but I stand firm in the words of the one who is my Rock because I know,  I'm on my  way somewhere.  No matter wh...

Rise From The Ashes

One step at a time I take towards the light. I hear a voice calling out for salvation and rest. It is a soothing voice that speaks with divine truth. I cannot turn away from it anymore. It is a familiar voice I once heard over and over again. I had often strayed away from it for far too long.  I start to take another step closer to that voice of truth. No more turning back, so here I go. As I wearily walk to that miraculous glow.  Pieces of me that have weighed me down now fall to the floor. My heart is bruised and scarred by the relentless abuse of this world. I come empty handed with nothing to offer but my battered heart. As I relinquish my heart to the one that calls, I feel a sense of  renewal and restoration. He calmly whispers to me I am redeemed and my soul is saved.  My immeasurable debt has been paid and by his wounds I am healed. My Lord and Savior has done something no other has done for me.  He paid the price and brought me from dea...

You were made...

As we continue on our spiritual journey, we encounter stumbling blocks that cause us to forget at times what we are here to do.  But it isn't until we completely surrender our will, our plans and ways of life that our life and direction become anew.  Our way of life and will must be aligned with the one who gave it all so that we may be a light for others to follow.  The Lord's plans for you and all his children are plans meant to prosper, give hope, and a future that is wondrous and hallow.  Therefore, we must all pick up our cross and follow the Lord's path and achieve what we were made for.  The truth is that you were made for so much more.  You were made to be a leader for this dying world, not a follower of it. You were made to be encouraged, not a defeatist.  You were made to walk boldly in the Lord's ways, not a life of spiritual  timidness.  You were made to live a life of courage, not a life in fear....
