On My Way Somewhere

I'm on my way somewhere.
No, I don't know what lies ahead, but I have
faith because I'm on my way somewhere.
I get tired and lose my breath, but I still push
through because, I'm on my way somewhere.
My body aches as I grow weary, but I stay the
course because, I'm on my way somewhere.
Tears row down my eyes as emotions flood my
face, but I fix my eyes and continue to march
on because, I'm on my way somewhere.
My feet start to blister as my legs start to give
out, but I pull through the pain and keep
forward because, I'm on my way somewhere.
My heart begins to break, but I seek after the
heart of the one who saved me because,
I'm on my way somewhere.
My spirit feels troubled and crushed, but I pray
my way through because, I'm on my way somewhere.
My faith wears thin sometimes, but I stand firm in the
words of the one who is my Rock because I know,
I'm on my way somewhere.
No matter where I am or where I go, the Lord reminds
me through a gentle breeze of his word or a soothing
calm in my soul, he is with me. And I should stay in
the race and press on towards the mark because,
I'm on my way somewhere.

Inspirational Bible Quotes:

Philippians 3:12; 14 (NKV)

Not that I have already attained or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me...I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:15 (NKV)

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Joshua 1:9 (NKV)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

The Heavy Hand That Frees

How marvelous and instructive is your Hand, Lord. It’s the same gentle Hand that puts my heart at ease and its the same mighty Hand that rebukes me. O’ where would I be without your Heavy Hand, Father. A lost and miserable man would I be; wandering through  the desert with no hope in sight seeking for water and not finding it.  O’ how strong is your conviction when your Heavy Hand is upon me; such a heavy, intense weight is placed on my soul.  How my flesh wants to ignore, defy, and flee it, but Your  Holy Spirit whispers to me that I be still and come back to You. Yes, Your Heavy Hand shows me the wicked error of my ways.  Your Heavy Hand reveals how my sins try to disconnect me from You. But your Heavy Hand won’t let me go because I am your's, Lord.  Just as a father disciplines the son in whom he delights, so it is  when Your Hand is over me. Thank you, Abba! You rebuke those that you love; ones that You call Your children. Father, Your Hand helps m...

When He Returns

What a glorious but frightful day it will be For some, they will shout for joy while others for mercy they will plea.  For the goats will be met with His wrathful judgment you will see, but the sheep, eternal rest will be what they receive.  At last we will all see Him clearly with our very eyes The One who is faithful in steadfast love; He has heard His peoples’ cries.  Money, power, fame or Christ, upon which will you rely? To Him you are either friend or stranger, today you must decide! A lowly and meek child was He when He first arrived But a mighty and victorious King He’ll return, with nowhere to hide.  All of those who have mocked His holy name It is them in which He will put to shame.  To none will be a second chance on that day Accept Jesus now for thee, my friend, oh how I pray! Hear Him now for salvation does call So that when He returns you will not fall.  Inspirational Scripture:  John 3:16-17 ESV "For God so loved the world, that he gave ...

It is Finished!

A helpless man I was; filled with darkness and anarchy  But something powerful and amazing happened at Calvary.  Through my eyes the world was meaningless without You But a beautiful promise made long ago had finally come through. A Man named Jesus was sentenced to be nailed on a cross Where He bore the sins of the world so that none may be lost. Out of love He gave His life for us all to be Savior and Redeemer My heart went from darkness to light and is now cleaner.  The price You paid for me can never, ever be repaid How great is Your mercy, I can now live my life unafraid.  Knowing that my sins and failures are no more How my heart dances in praise; I feel as though I can soar.  Hallelujah! Yes, forevermore my sins and debt You have extinguished Ever since that wonderful day You said, "it is finished!"  Inspirational Bible Verses:  1 Peter 2:24 (NASB) And He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live t...
