Who am I

Who am I? Whom many would call a lost cause would choose
to think of me and place those voices of doubt on pause.

Who am I? One who doesn't even come close to Your glory,
but You pursued me anyway and gave me the victory.

Who am I? A man that's just filthy rags stained by sin, but
You said "it is finished", so now my life can begin.

Who am I? A stranger that was once Your foe
You see with loving eyes and now call him Your own.

Who am I? I am Yours oh, Lord. Because of your love,
redemption, and grace, a new song of praise my body and
soul sings in one accord.

Inspirational Bible Verses:

Romans 3:23-26 (NKJV)

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Ephesians 1:-10 (NKJV)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His Grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth--in Him.

1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

When He Returns

What a glorious but frightful day it will be For some, they will shout for joy while others for mercy they will plea.  For the goats will be met with His wrathful judgment you will see, but the sheep, eternal rest will be what they receive.  At last we will all see Him clearly with our very eyes The One who is faithful in steadfast love; He has heard His peoples’ cries.  Money, power, fame or Christ, upon which will you rely? To Him you are either friend or stranger, today you must decide! A lowly and meek child was He when He first arrived But a mighty and victorious King He’ll return, with nowhere to hide.  All of those who have mocked His holy name It is them in which He will put to shame.  To none will be a second chance on that day Accept Jesus now for thee, my friend, oh how I pray! Hear Him now for salvation does call So that when He returns you will not fall.  Inspirational Scripture:  John 3:16-17 ESV "For God so loved the world, that he gave ...

Conquering Your Mountain/Taiwan Collage #2

Hello everyone. I pray that everyone is doing well. As I mentioned in my last post, it has been a while since I posted a poem. However, I included one in this one along with pictures I took. I give God, all honor and praise for everything he has done for me and my family. Although, I know that there are times when things get tough. It may seem hard to see how any good can come out of a bad situation. So, I want to talk about Hope. Hope is believing in something that you want to happen for your benefit. Well, I'm happy to say there's good news, friends! There is certainly Hope in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and he wants to benefit you in so many ways imaginable. Because he took the nails for us and took our place on the Cross, we have hope. We no longer have to wonder if we will receive things that will benefit us because the Lord is ready to bless you. So, whatever it is you are...

The Heavy Hand That Frees

How marvelous and instructive is your Hand, Lord. It’s the same gentle Hand that puts my heart at ease and its the same mighty Hand that rebukes me. O’ where would I be without your Heavy Hand, Father. A lost and miserable man would I be; wandering through  the desert with no hope in sight seeking for water and not finding it.  O’ how strong is your conviction when your Heavy Hand is upon me; such a heavy, intense weight is placed on my soul.  How my flesh wants to ignore, defy, and flee it, but Your  Holy Spirit whispers to me that I be still and come back to You. Yes, Your Heavy Hand shows me the wicked error of my ways.  Your Heavy Hand reveals how my sins try to disconnect me from You. But your Heavy Hand won’t let me go because I am your's, Lord.  Just as a father disciplines the son in whom he delights, so it is  when Your Hand is over me. Thank you, Abba! You rebuke those that you love; ones that You call Your children. Father, Your Hand helps m...
