Worthy of Praise

Oh, Lord, You are worthy of praise.
How You nit me together in my mother's womb and knew me before I took my first breath.

Oh, Lord, You are worthy of praise.
How you've seen me take my first steps and walked beside me throughout my life.

Oh, Lord, You are worthy of praise.
How my ears hear the melodic songs of birds in the morning and the familiar sound of my son's laughter throughout the day.

Oh, Lord, You are worthy of praise. How my delicate eyes see the blue, expansive sky and the many shades of humanity You made in Your very image.

Oh, Lord, You are worthy of praise. How my body can feel the gentle, cool breeze of Spring and the warm, loving embrace of my wife.

Oh, Lord, You are worthy of praise. How I can smell the wonderful fragrance of a rose and catch a scent that brings to mind of fond memories from the past.

Oh, Lord, You are worthy of praise. How my tastebuds can distinguish sweet from sour and enjoy a delectable meal.

Oh, Lord, You are worthy of praise. How I've been fearfully and wonderfully made; who is like You, Lord?

Oh, how I adore the Potter that formed this mold of clay; my body is Yours for worship and from my lips will proceed praises of You til my days are numbered and even forevermore in the hereafter!

Inspirational Bible Verses:

Jeremiah 1:4-5 NKJV

Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."

Psalm 139: 13-16 ESV

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

Isaiah 64:8 NKJV

But now, O LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.

When He Returns

What a glorious but frightful day it will be For some, they will shout for joy while others for mercy they will plea.  For the goats will be met with His wrathful judgment you will see, but the sheep, eternal rest will be what they receive.  At last we will all see Him clearly with our very eyes The One who is faithful in steadfast love; He has heard His peoples’ cries.  Money, power, fame or Christ, upon which will you rely? To Him you are either friend or stranger, today you must decide! A lowly and meek child was He when He first arrived But a mighty and victorious King He’ll return, with nowhere to hide.  All of those who have mocked His holy name It is them in which He will put to shame.  To none will be a second chance on that day Accept Jesus now for thee, my friend, oh how I pray! Hear Him now for salvation does call So that when He returns you will not fall.  Inspirational Scripture:  John 3:16-17 ESV "For God so loved the world, that he gave ...

The Heavy Hand That Frees

How marvelous and instructive is your Hand, Lord. It’s the same gentle Hand that puts my heart at ease and its the same mighty Hand that rebukes me. O’ where would I be without your Heavy Hand, Father. A lost and miserable man would I be; wandering through  the desert with no hope in sight seeking for water and not finding it.  O’ how strong is your conviction when your Heavy Hand is upon me; such a heavy, intense weight is placed on my soul.  How my flesh wants to ignore, defy, and flee it, but Your  Holy Spirit whispers to me that I be still and come back to You. Yes, Your Heavy Hand shows me the wicked error of my ways.  Your Heavy Hand reveals how my sins try to disconnect me from You. But your Heavy Hand won’t let me go because I am your's, Lord.  Just as a father disciplines the son in whom he delights, so it is  when Your Hand is over me. Thank you, Abba! You rebuke those that you love; ones that You call Your children. Father, Your Hand helps m...

Taiwan Collage (1)

Hey there folks. I've taken a break on the poems for a while; however, I will try to get back into them soon. In the meantime, I've decided to post up some pictures. Along with writing spiritual poetry, I enjoy taking pictures of God's glorious work in nature, architect, food, etc. I did mention that I will be doing more with my blog page so this is one way I will expand on it. I will try to keep my blog post up to date. My wife takes care of the videos, so if you want to check out our adventures, please visit her Youtube channel: Ebony Navarrete . I hope you all enjoy the pictures that I post up on this page. God Bless.
